Chapter EducationSAVE THE DATE: MONDAY, NOVEMBER 24TH The Connecticut Chapter of NATP will hold its fall conference at the Cromwell Courtyard Marriott. We are pleased to have David Mellem back as our speaker for the day. Registration information is available in our fall newsletter-please see attached. Please contact Jerry van Duinen at 203-245-3004, jerryvan@snet.net with any questions. Our Chapter held its spring conference on Friday, June 6th, at the Courtyard Marriott. Our half day meeting began with an informal buffet lunch followed by a presentation from Joseph McCarthy and Maggie Romaniello, IRS stakeholder laisons. Joe and Maggie updated us on IRS penalty provisions and the new third party disclosure rules. We closed the afternoon with a roundtable discussion. Members shared practice and procedure issues in their offices. The opportunity to meet with colleagues and discuss these topics was most useful. Chapter NewsThe Connecticut Chapter of NATP held its annual meeting on Friday, June 6th, at the Waterbury Courtyard Marriott. We were fortunate to have Sally Fahey, NATP National secretary, attend our meeting and spend the day with us.
